About Us
Welcome! I am Babasangowola Ologundudu,Chief Priest of Ile Ire Ifa Temple a devoted Babalawo and crowned priest of Sàngó, with over two decades of dedication as a Priest of the Yorùbá spiritual path. My journey has been one of deep commitment, not only to the deities I serve but to the people whose lives I touch.
In my 22 years of practice, I have been blessed to guide, heal, and empower through the ancient wisdom of Ifá and Orisa. My path has led me to found the Olokun Retreat, a sanctuary for spiritual cleansing and rejuvenation. This retreat is more than just a getaway; it's a pilgrimage back to one's essence, offering both the Ifa and Orisa community and like-minded souls a space to connect, reflect, and revitalize amidst nature's tranquility.
Beyond my spiritual endeavors, I am a family man, blessed with a loving wife and five wonderful children. My personal life is a testament to the values I cherish - unity, health, and continuous growth. An advocate for a healthy lifestyle, I find joy in exercise and nurturing the body with wholesome foods, believing that our physical well-being is intrinsically linked to our spiritual health.
Looking ahead, my dreams are big and grounded in service. I envision establishing a Cemetary dedicated to our people, providing a sacred resting place that honors our ancestors and traditions. Furthermore, I am committed to launching a non-profit preservation society. This initiative aims to safeguard the wisdom of our elders, ensuring that the rich tapestry of our practice is not lost but cherished and passed down through generations.
My roots run deep, with both my mother and father being esteemed priests within the Ifa & Orisha Spiritual tradition. Their guidance and the ancestral knowledge they have bestowed upon me have been my guiding light, shaping me into the practitioner and person I am today.
